Udta Punjab may have to let go of the word 'Punjab' from its title 

Udta Punjab is stalled for release by the Censor Board as their stance for the film is its extreme adult portrayal of characters and swears which go beyond the A Certificate. 

Fighting it out at the revising committee, Udta Punjab has been advised around 40 major cuts and the removal of 'Punjab' from its film title. 

The reason for the same is it may defame Punjab as a state and may harm the election polls which will be help early next year. 

We hope all is cleared soon and we get to see the film in the same vein it was shot for us.
