Kareena discusses Menstrual Hygiene

As a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF, Kareena Kapoor Khan chose the least discussed issue of Menstrual Hygiene to empower young adolescents with her inspiring stance

She plans on visiting Ratnagiri, Mathura, Varanasi and Jalandhar to further spread awareness to the rural locals of the cities.

Kareena said, "There is nothing impure about menstruating as its God-given, the fact that we should not be allowed to offer prayers in temples / mosques is regressive. It's high time we speak about this openly. With use of correct medicinal products and clean toilets, success is ours"

Adding to the list of her noble initiatives, Kareena has earlier spoken of Children's right to education.
