Some great news coming in for Udta Punjab Fans

After the tumultuous battle between the Certification Board and the makers of Udta Punjab, the justice body Bombay High Court is here to bail out the film.

As reported earlier about HC asking for logical explanations for the suggested cuts the CBFC has demanded, it appears Udta Punjab will be release with a single cut, which has Shahid weeing on his audience.

The rest of the portions with abusive language and drug usage, will come with a visual disclaimer.

The HC  advised the CBFC to only certify films and not censor them. As the audience is extremely mature and can consume content as its discretion.

Stating that naming cities does not intimidate or defame the state, neither does the reality of drug use.

Making a lot of sense, the High Court has adjourned the final hearing to Monday.

Udta Punjab's release however will be pushed by a few weeks.
