Shahrukh Khan gives his statement on Salman's Rape Remark 

   Salman Khan made a major verbal mistake in a bid to promote his upcoming film Sultan. His statement of feeling like a 'Raped Woman' after coming out of the wrestling ring, got national coverage across the media and the contempt of various feminists / victims / public  rightfully. 

   His father was prompt to send out an apology on his behalf. Kangana Ranaut too asked for forgiveness on behalf of the industry. Yet Salman only said “Knowing me, the shorter I keep it the better it is". 

Shahrukh Khan empathises with him and says he could have been in Salman's shoes too as he has made far too many verbal slips. He added, "In the last few years I have realized that I made so many inappropriate comments myself that I don’t think I am someone to sit and judge somebody else’s comments to be very honest. It’s about taking sides or not taking sides.”

“Who are we to decide or not decide what he (Salman) should or shouldn’t be doing. Personally speaking I don’t think I can make any comments on this, I am so inappropriate myself. I myself say so many things"

  

Harshvardhan Kapoor has already signed his second film! 

    Hottie Alert! The newest entrant in B-Town Harshvardhan Kapoor will be seen playing the title role in Mirziya, which looks absolutely stunning from its Trailer.

   His subtle expressive face, aggression in some moments, becoming one with the heavenly visual cannot be missed. His pair with Saiyami looks absolutely HOT to say the least.


We now hear, Phantom Film's Vikramaditya Motwane is interested in signing Harshvardhan Kapoor opposite Radhika Apte in his next film titled Bhavesh Joshi.


  As presumed, Harsh will be playing the title role once again! We really hope the best for this newcomer and want to see him emerge among the clan. 

Salman Khan does not recognize Sushant Singh Rajput! 

Salman Khan is not acquainted with all the newcomers in the industry it seems. Reports of him signing Sushant Singh Rajput with Jacqueline Fernandez in his home production were doing the rounds.

However, Salman Khan looked rather confused when questioned about this development and even went on to say, "Who Sushant?"

Time will tell if this was sarcastically remarked or for genuine ignorance.

Kareena Kapoor wants to focus her energies on Family 

    Kareena Kapoor has surely managed to maintain her top spot in the league of today's actresses. Even competition and the addition of young breed of actors has not been able to come in the way of her stardom. 

   When asked about Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone's Hollywood Career, Kareena is more than happy to witness their rise as international artists, but has no plans on going the same way as them. 

   She refuses to settle in USA as her priorities remain with her husband Saif Ali Khan and starting her family. 

    She wants to be known as a Married Working Actor and says even after having kids, she would like to continue work the same way always. As seen in Hollywood, an actor's personal life stay unaffected to their respective career. 

Jacqueline wants to try Adult Comedy Films 

    Jacqueline has been a part of clean comedies so far, but does not mind trying her hands at Sex Comedies in the future. 

   Working on her comic timing, Jacqueline says unless the film is made aesthetically, she won't mind giving it a try.  So her association with such films will depend on the makers and their approach towards it. 

Having a dream run at the Box Office with Housefull 3, Jacqueline will be seen in Dishoom which is set for July 29th release. 

Aishwariya and Ranbir hit it off on the sets of Ae Dil Hain Mushkil 

   Aishwariya Rai has her plate full with lots of good movies this year. The young mother has surely not taken a backseat work-wise and will soon be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Ae Dil Hain Mushkil 

   When probed about the fact on how this is her first film with Karan Johar, Aishwariya revealed she was offered Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and even Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham, but was committed to Rishi Kapoor's Aa Ab Laut Chalein in 1999 and other films when these offers came by. 

   Interestingly, Ranbir had worked as an assistant director in Aa Ab Laut Chailein and they are now coming together as co-stars. She is all praise for Ranbir and thinks he has a great sense of humour. 

Pulkit Samrat's Shameful Act on dealing with Junooniyat's Failure 

   Pulkit Samrat is starting to be known for his high handedness and extreme anger pangs. Recently, he threw his weight around for his last film Junooniyat's failure by breaking some furniture in a Delhi Hotel.

   Pulkit was not in a mood to face the reality and even found out how much worth damages could be done. He eventually broke a Maharaja Chair worth INR. 50,000/- and angrily told the staff to be paid by the makers of his film.

  This news comes in days after, Pulkit was spotted abusing photographers at the airport. We wonder why such an open display of emotion by him.

    Apparently, Pulkit and Yami are not happy with the makers of Junooniyat as for them it was not publicized well.

Tusshar Kapoor is a proud Father! 

Tusshar Kapoor's paternal instincts were calling out to him and he decided to have a surrogate baby. Although Tusshar has not taken to matrimony yet, he chose to be a father through surrogacy.

Now a dad to a healthy baby boy who is named Laksshya, here's what he said :

Don't take Success or Failure seriously - Shahid Kapoor 

Shahid Kapoor got candid to a leading daily and gave out some really interesting insights into his life. 

Here's the gist : 

Shahid has been in Showbiz from 13 years and has grown consistently with each film. He believes he is in a position to acquire good work as film makers and fans are placing his trust on him to pull off unconventional roles. 

He fears repeating a similar kind of role and stays away from any such project which can typecast him. He considers Kaminey to be the turning point in his career.  After which, he made poor choices by signing a Dil Bole Hadippa, which was rather forgettable.  

At 35, he feels he should have got the same recognition at 30 and hence is a bit behind. But is working towards his goal of being a complete performer and does not take failure or success seriously. 

On the personal front, Shahid will complete a year in his marriage and is set to welcome his baby in September. He will be off movies for about a month and be by his wife and baby's side throughout. 

Shahid Kapoor has achieved the balance in this work and family life and sets his priorities on both fronts. 

Deepika embraces Fawad Khan 

The IIFA Awards were held in the past weekend and winners celebrated in full glory. 

Deepika Padukone yet again bagged the best actress award for her role in Piku.  And shared this honor with Ranveer Singh in the male category who deservedly received it for Bajirao Mastani. 

Deepika Padukone looked ravishing in an all black gown by Swapnil Shinde and a pulled back hair-do.She warmly went to meet host Fawad Khan and gave him a tight embrace.

Deepika to shoot her next Bollywood film in September 

Deepika recently interacted with the media, where she disclosed her next Bollywood Shoot Schedule is set for September.  She did not mention which film, but kept it at that. 

Her Hollywood film with Vin Diesel, XXX in set for an early Jan,2017 release. And her mentioned Hindi film may come out next year as well. 

Currently, DP is in Spain attending the IFFA Weekend which is touted to be the Oscars for Bollywood.

However, we presume this film is 'Padmavati' with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, a period tragic love drama about Alauddin Khijli's obsession with the beautiful Padmavati, starring her alleged beau Ranveer Singh. 

Ranveer Singh will be free from his Befikre schedule this July and hence, this looks likely to be the project at hand. 

This might just be the first picture of Kareena Kapoor's baby bump! 

   Kareena has witnessed a golden run at the box office and in fact recently even stated how similar she is to her character 'Ki' when it came to her career and ambitious drive.

    Kareena's latest film Udta Punjab has got an above average opening and things are surely looking up for the entire film team.

     Recently, her pregnancy news was celebrated in the media and among fans, though she happened to clarify neutrally with maybe or maybe-not reply.

Bollywood Reactions on Salman Khan's Rape Remarks 

While most have kept quiet in a bid to not rub Salman Khan the wrong way thus siding his sexist remarks. Some bold personalities have not shied away from speaking against Salman.

As a society, we have to take responsibility and stand united. This is disgraceful for a society, not an individual," Kangana continued, adding, "We collectively feel sorry for that thought process."

Shiv Sena Spokesperson, Manisha Kayande : 

I have not seen a celebrity more shameless than Salman Khan. He's displayed a destructive nature from the beginning. He shoots endangered animals, kills footpath dwellers and now this. People still consider him a hero.

Anurag Kashyap : 

Thoughtless and Daft. Poor choice of words. Salman is not my friend, we don't work together. 

Renuka Shahane : 

There is no consent in rape. There is consent in acting & actors are also paid for it. A rape victim has to pay forever! Be human please!”

We hope the matter ends soon and celebrities don't blurt out insensitive and unnecessary analogies

Shirish Kunder keeps it pacy and intriguing.  After making films like Joker and Jaaneman , Shirish has returned with a new film for a new emerging medium, the web.

The cast is headlined by Manoj Bajpayee, Radhika Apte, Neha Sharma and Manu Rishi in this 19 minute short film. The editing is on point and has some really shocking additions to a normal frame. Background score is catchy and keeps the momentum.

As for the performance, Manoj Bajpayee is effortless as the patient who allegedly has a disorder to imagine creatues, Radhika wins it as a doctor and keeps it natural. Neha Sharma has emoted well and will surely be noticed.

The first arrest has been made for the illegal leak of Udta Punjab

Udta Punjab was unfortunately leaked two days ahead of its release on 15th June and was made available on Torrent and Allmovies.com

The makers immediately seeked Cyber Cell division's help to probe the matter. 

The culprit, Dipak Jumar is a Delhi local, who apparently stole the  first censor print and uploaded it on the illegal movie sites. After questioning by the Cyber Cell, Dipak has been arrested on Wednesday for stealing of copyright. 

Soon the Cyber Cell was successful in removing all the movie links of Udta Punjab, however, its director Abhishek Chaubey was found to be present on Torrent, using its illegal services. 

The film has collected 42 Crores in its first five days and is going steady at the box office. 

Sussanne Khan opens up about the fraud case filed against her 

Sussanne Khan was recently booked in a fraud case, worth 1.87 Crore stating she tried to pose as an architect for her client, Emgee Enterprises based out of Goa. 

However, Sussanna Khan is not intimidated by the case and says she will go the legal route to fight back the alleged accusation. 

In an interview, she added, “I was in London for four days for the Coldplay concert. The kids were with Hrithik (actor Hrithik Roshan, ex-husband) in Mumbai. When on Sunday, I heard all this, I thought ‘Oh my god so many people in the world…actually the concert helped me understand better that I don’t need to get affected by crap, they are not doing well themselves, they pull you down. But you learn from this and move ahead."

I am blessed I have a huge family, I have strong support, I don’t have any fear. I am blessed with calmness, when you are calm you can think clearly,” she says. And when asked she replies, “Hrithik (Roshan) is totally with me and he supports me completely.”

Our contract states that we were hiring talent or an architect to work on the project which I was heading as a creative director. All that, the contract clearly states.. there was not even one percent doubt that we were hiring, there was no misconception in his mind. I never ever said that I was the architect… We were there as a company, a design company.He is trying to attack me just because I have already put a case against him, in 2015. This is a counter attack. He tried to malign my company by making it look like we didn’t deliver whatever was to be delivered in the right time. So we filed a case for the dues because the design of everything (the architecture, the interior planning, etc) was supplied to him. He was supposed to give us a certain amount. According to the contract which was agreed upon by both the parties, whether or not the execution happens, that part was supposed to be given to us. He didn’t do that . And he tried to get out of the contract by calling my company unprofessional. That really got me upset and that’s the reason I put a case on him!”

Well let's hope the matter is resolved soon and Sussanne get out of the legal soup. As she is serious on filing a defamation case against the client company and set an example for every working woman to be fearless. 

Major showdown between Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor 

   Mother-daughter duo who run Balaji Telefilms and Balaji Motion Pictures from over 2.5 decades together, have not been on the same page lately. The alleged fight is over the assignment of new CEO - Aman Gill, who has taken all Balaji Film productions under his wings. 

    Complaints from several Head of Department members have been floating against Aman Gill. As soon as  he took charge, he sacked Chief Creative Officer Tanveer Bookwala and is at loggerheads with Head of Development, Tushar Hiranandani. 

    Head of Marketing and Brands, Ruchikaa Kapoor and Head of Distribution, Vimal Doshi to have complained about Aman's interference and zero knowledge on films. Balaji lost a lot of money as Aman Gill predicted Kyaa Superkool Hai Hum 3 to be a huge hit, while it tanked and the makers had to repay the distributors. Similarly, Azhar flopped and Udta Punjab met a bad fate with censor board and its online piracy print. 

   Previously at Junglee Pictures, Aman Gill had refused to produce Udta Punjab, but soon after his appointment in Balaji, went on to take credit as a producer. Apparently Phantom and MSM Pictures too complained about the unpleasant experience of working with Gill. His appoitment as Creative Officer at Junglee Pictures came through his close link with the owners. 

  Yet Ekta Kapoor wants to give him some more time, while Shobha Kapoor is keen on sacking him. This had lead to a major showdown between the two. A trip to Tirupati and a havan in on the cards to ward off bad luck 

Anushka does not want to be compared with Alia Bhatt 

    Witnessing the rapid rise of Alia Bhatt in her 4 year old career, Anushka Sharma has firmly put her foot down on not going the Alia way. 

    If sources are to be believed, Anushka behaved like a complete diva on the sets of Sultan. The producer's wished to have a candid song recording with Anushka, where she would be required to sit on a stool and sing the reprise 'Jag Ghoomeya Female' version. 

   Knowing well, she is not a singer, Anushka would just be lip syncing the track. However, she refused to so any such thing to avoid comparisons with Alia's way of promoting her films. 

   Let's see if this little refusal turns out to be an out and out cat fight between the two.

    Salman is trying to capture headlines with his upcoming project Sultan, for which he has been on an extensive promotional drive, giving away several interviews in different media. 

  Some really interesting as well as shocking remarks have come out of him. From the public apology given by his father Salim, here are some more which will acquaint you better with Bhai! 

1. Salman was scared sporting the langkot, for the fear of it getting undone in public, he thought it would be easy as he sports shorts and goes shirtless often, but it was not a cake walk at all. His stills were leaked before time and he ensured his look did not seem obscene.

3. His toughest film was 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' as he just could not say Kyun Babuji to Alok Nath for he stammered back then 

4. Ali Abbas Zafar would have done Sultan even without Salman in it

5. He left Chak De India! to do more commercial films. 

6. If he would not have done Ek Tha Tiger, it would be done by SRK, Hrithik or Aamir 

7. Aamir is scared after watching Sultan's trailer as he feels Dangal is on similar lines. 

8. Salman has recorded all the songs for Sultan, but only for his fans, they aren't in the film 

9. This year's Bigg Boss 10 will have celebs staying with common people, and will be the most stressed out format to host

   Anushka has been like a dark horse in Bollywood as she has blinders which make her focus only on her work.  She does not care about the stories or gossips floating around and does her work with complete sincerity. 

  Talking of her work, the 28 year old is thankful to all the Khans she has worked with, as it has made her work reach out to a far larger audience than expected. 

   Having started her career in 2008, Anushka soon will be completing a successful six year career as an actor, during which she has also taken up duties of a producer. 

   Anushka will next be seen in Sultan, Ae Dil Hai Mudhkil and Phillauri, her home production.

Salman's statement on feeling like a raped woman, while shooting for Sultan has caused much uproar due to its insensitivity and mindlessness. Thus, hurting the victims of such crime and survivors , their families and women in general too. 

He even called women his vice. A completely unexpected sexist remark by the superstar. 

However his dad, Salim Khan has made a public apology, seeking forgiveness from his fans and well-wishers.
