Vijay Mallya's Bollywood Connection

The international tycoon has been in the news for the wrong reasons for quite some time now.  He allegedly owes the banks a whopping amount of Rs. 9,000 crore including interest, his group companies have taken as a loan. The banks  involved had approached the courts from restraining Mallya to leave the country, but he seems to have fled on March 2 to avoid the legal proceedings.

For an average new model in the industry to feature on a Kingfisher Calendar is huge! Katrina Kaif was one such model who adorned the rocking Kingfisher Calendar and the same year 

( 2003) was seen in a bold Bollywood film ‘Boom’ opposite Gulshan Grover and Amitabh Bachchan.

 1.)    Raat (1992) 

      A cat is found in the basement  of a new house by a young kid, whose family has just shifted its residence. The cat is accidentally run over by a car by the father. Their daughter, Mini (Revathi) is presumably possessed  by this cat’s spirit.  Her ghostly side is seen when her boyfriend is pushed into the pond while on a picnic with her, her friend Rashmi is murdered with her head turned all the way back on their way to a wedding, the police investigation team handling her case, meet with an accident. The same cat returns home and shocks the family. With the help of exorcist guru it is found that a lady’s spirit is haunting the house, who was kept as a keep by the previous owner. A medical angle with a psychologist is shown as well. Watch this to have the most spooky night ever and be prepared to get less sleep.

 2.)    Bhoot (2003) 

      A young couple shift into a high rise building, purchased at an affordable rate.  Vishal (Ajay) knows about the fact that previous resident had committed suicide after killing her son and agrees to occupy the space, despite this. Swati (Urmila) is unaware about this fact until their landlord spills the beans. She is livid but can’t do much. On the first night itself, Swati is shown acting weirdly. She sleep walks at night, takes the lift for a strange late night stroll. Vishal soon comes to know of this and consults a medical practitioner. Their maid is the same maid, who used to work for the previous occupants. She finds a trace of Manjeet ( Ghost) in Swati when she yells and threatens to throw Vishal from the balcony. Backstory reveals, Manjeet was molested by Sanjay (Fardeen Khan) and on resisting his advances, she fell off her balcony and her son was made to die at the hands of their watchman. The exorcism is practiced and Sanjay is sent to jail.  The climax shows his confrontation with Manjeet. This will give you goosbumps. Watch for aesthetic horror.

 3.)    Ragini MMS (2011) 

      A ghost spoils the erotic weekend of a lustful couple who rent a secluded house, located in the outskirts of the city.  The knowledge of a lady committing suicide in the same house, after her family members accuse her of being a witch come to be known. The dark alleys leading to the bedroom create horror. The couple’s love-making scenes have horror in them, as the boyfriend suddenly starts to speak in the Ghost’s native language Marathi. His intention of recording Ragini’s MMS goes for a toos with the paranormal activities. He is made to kill himself. The girlfriend is handcuffed to the bed by her guy and can’t escape the house. The ghost suspends her up the wall and attacks her all night. You may not want to get naughty with your partner, after seeing the horrific story of Ragini.

      4.)    Ek Thi Daayan (2012) 

      A top magician, Bobo ( Emraan) hallucinates about his dead sister, he lost her when she was 6. He goes back to their isolated apartment, to find her body in the chest, hovered by a lizard.  Disturbed by this he decides to seek medical help. The doctor performs regression on him which opens up dark secrets about his childhood, when a witch disguised as woman entered their life. She offered Misha in sacrifice in order to retain her supernatural powers. Events led her to kill her Bobo’s father in retaliation. Bobo wakes up and is advised to think of this as mere imagination. Bobo suspects the revisit of the Daayan with Lisa ( Kalki) who comes as a guest on his show. But in reality, the Daayan is Tamara (Huma) who is Bobo’s girlfriend.  A shocking climax reveals that Bobo is a good pisach ( Male Ghost) and is seen protecting his family.  Watch for ultimate horror pleasure.

 5.)    Raaz ( 2002) 

      A spirit returns to haunt a young married couple by virtue of her unfinished business. Sanjana and Aditya are having a troubled marriage, they visit Ooty to solve their issues. This is where the spirit starts to drop hints with Sanjana, by screaming, making her take notice of the eerie forest, dropping objects and finally showing up on the glass pane. Sanjana learns that her husband was in an extra marital fling with Malini ( Ghost) and she wants to take revenge for not leaving his wife for her. Sanjana deals with it by burning of Malini’s dead corpse and setting things right for Aditya and her.   A must watch in the horror genre.

Himesh is a multi-talented artist with expertise in singing, composing, production, lyrics, distribution and screen play writing as well. The man has tasted success with each of his endeavors and remains to efficiently work as an overall entertainer.

1.)    Personal Life

      Seeing the death of his elder brother, Himesh made up his mind to pursue Music as his profession. His father Vipin Reshammiya, who is a well-known Gujarati Music Director is now on board in the capacity of a producer for all of Himesh’s films made under his HR Musik banner. He began working at the age of 16 in the Television Industry as a producer on Doorsarshan Ahemdabad and ZEE TV. Was married at the age of 21 to Komal Reshammiya, with whom he has a son.  Himesh barely speaks about his personal life in the media.

2.)    Career Boost 

     

      His career started with Salman Khan’s Pyaar Ki Toh Darna Kya and he became the superstar’s favorite composer. His association with Salman continued with hit albums in the likes of Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge and Jalwa. He rose to fame with his rendition for Tere Naam.  It is not commonly known but the two have 20 albums together. Post this, Himesh tried his hand at singing with his stint for Aashiq Banaya Apne.
