Education Qualification of our favorite Celebs

We all know how important formal education is! It’s like a workplace for young students to decide their career path and work on their strengths.  Some of us toil hard and keep attaining education till a ripe age, while some of us pursue our inner calling, leaving aside a degree.

Here are some actors and their education qualifications to help you know them better :

1.      Varun Dhawan

     Emerging star Varun has a degree in Business Management from Nottingam Trent University, UK.   He beat his record of being average as he secured 82 % in the 10^th grade. Before making his debut, Varun assisted Karan Johar on the sets of My Name is Khan. 

2.      Alia Bhatt 

     This lovely young actor did her schooling from Jamnabai High School in Juhu, Mumbai till the 12^th Grade. Upon being cast for SOTY,  she realized her true calling in Showbiz and there was no looking back thereafter.

 3.      Kareena Kapoor 

     Her education reflects on her art. A good student Kareena bagged many honors in several subjects, except in Maths.  Unlike her sister Karisma who could not complete her graduation, Kareena was interested in MicroComputers and Law. She wanted to pursue it but her inherited talent brought her in Showbiz.

     4.      Priyanka Chopra 

     Our Quantico lead actor who pulled off Kashibai in the same year, has a history of Education in the USA .  She did her schooling from La Martiniere Girls High School in Lucknow. As her dad’s work required them to shift base, she moved to the US and continued schooling at Newton North High School in Newton, Massachusetts, and later John F Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She returned to finish High School in Bareilly, UP. With such a good cultural mix at a tender age, Priyanka shaped her enchanting personality. She enrolled in Jai Hind College to become a software engineer or criminal psychologist but left it as she won the Miss World Pageant.

 5.      Aishwariya Rai 

     The lovely lady has been gifted with the best of beauty and brains in a lifetime.  She was a School Prefect and attained a 90% in her HSC.  She wanted to pursue medicine, but destiny got her to take up Architecture in Raheja College. She left it soon as she bagged the coveted Miss World crown

 6.      John Abraham

     This charming Bandra boy has immense knowledge apart from his good-looks. He loves to keep a tab on current affairs and having a conversation with him, will make you realize how involved, respectful and kind he is. Studied at Bombay Scottish, Mahim and acquired a degree in Economics from Jai Hind College, which explains his financial prowess as a producer. John even did an MBA from MET College, Bandra.  Respect.

 7.      Amitabh Bachchan 

     Far from the thought of being an artist, Amitabh Bachchan excelled in Studies too. He has a double major to his credit in Science and Arts from Kirori Mal College in Delhi.  Even an honored doctorate from a foreign university. Not many know but Amitabh Bachchan headed out to become an RJ, though the panel at AIR rejected him.

 8.      Vidya Balan 

     Born in Chembur, Mumbai, Vidya attended St. Anthony’s Girls High School.  She later enrolled in St. Xavier’s to acquire a degree in Sociology. A post-graduate, she did an MA from Mumbai University.  Vidya was a noted theater actress as she began her theater journey in Prithvi Theatre and has command over several languages. True beauty.
