Break-up stories in Bollywood 

Presenting some of the most sad yet true break-up stories in Bollywood. Once in love, they barely want to recognize each other now. 

1. Amitabh and Rekha 

Their love blossomed during the shoot of Silsila, a love triangle which transpired in real life too. They had an intense love relationship bur Amitabh moved on to protect his image. 

Rekha still confesses to her love for him and even adorns Sindhoor and Mangal Sutra, as stories suggest they were secretly married. 

2. Salman and Aishwariya 

Salman fell in love with the gorgeous Aishwariya during the making of a love story, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. So much for his love, that he even persuaded the makers to change its end and keep it in his favor. 

Aishwariya moved on, as he became too possessive about her, he would often visit her film sets and create a ruckus and was even known to physically assault her. Her parents didn't approve of her boyfriend.  She moved on to date Vivek and now married to Abhishek Bachchan. 

3. Karisma and Abhishek Bachchan 

They two seemed like a match from heaven. They announced their engagement on Amitabh's 60th Birthday in public. But few months down the line, they broke off ties. 

Reason for the same is the alleged interference of Babita Kapoor or some even say Amar Singh found out about Karisma's closeness to Sahara Chief Subroto Roy. 

Karisma has just taken a divorce from Sunjay Kapur while Abhishek is happily married to Aishwariya.  

4. Shahid and Kareena

They would give the mushiest interviews and swear by their fondness for one another. However, the steady relationship hit a rough patch due to the alleged closeness of Shahid with Vidya and Kareena with Saif Ali Khan. 

They moved on rather quick, yet braved the heart-break while filming Jab We Met. 

5. Hrithik and Barbara Mori 

The two got rather close as they shot Kites. This led to major arguments between Suzanne and Hrithik , hampering his peaceful matrimony. 

Suzanne filed for divorce in 2013 and is sure to never consider a reconciliation with Hrithik. 

6. Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor 

Ranbir and Deepika had admitted to their relationship through the press. They were smitten by each other, so much that Deepika got the initial 'RK' tattooed on her neck. 

However, they broke up and the reason is Ranbir's infidelity which Deepika hinted at, while on Koffee with Karan. 

They two still remain good friends and even sign projects together. 

7. Bipasha and John. 

The two were almost like a married couple as they knew each other for the longest time and always admitted to their relationship. 

However, their fans were in a state of shock to know about their break up as it is believed John cheated on Bipasha. They do not even acknowledge each other anymore. 

8. Rabir and Katrina 

Their perfect romance got jinxed after several years of dating and a live-in. Just when the media caught them in a tight embrace at their balcony, few days later reports of their separation surfaced. 

The reason is believed to be Katrina's possessiveness for Ranbir and incompatibility between the two. Trouble began when Ranbir conducted a huge campaign to promote his film Tamasha with his ex flame. 

They don't look eye to eye anymore. 

We are truly saddened to know the cause of the heartbreaks. But such is life.
