Athiya debuted with Hero in 2015, and never managed to be approached for any mainstream projects, barring a few endorsements and events. She recently visited maverick film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali to seek professional help. 

He assured to strengthen her career. Whether that means we'll see her in an SLB film or not, remains to be seen.
