The negotiations are underway, and if reports are to be believed, Karan Singh Grover will give you a personalized travel video blog in the exotic locations of North America in the first season. 

Karan is quite an avid traveler and keeps his fans engaged with his Holiday pictures.

All characters are involved in the music profession in some way and are tending to broken hearts.    The trailer of Baar Baar Dekho was enough to set the buzz among fans and potential movie goers. With a powerful chart buster, Kala Chashma which has successfully garnered 62 Million Hits, Baar Baar Dekho has successfully reached out to a wide world audience.


   A September 9th theatrical release is set, which shall clash with Salman Khan's Freaky Ali at the box office. In a recent report, we hear two generic scenes from Baar Baar Dekho have been assigned for deletion. One has the internet fictional character 'Savita Bhabhi' being mentioned in it and the second one has women's lingerie shown.


   Even after Bombay High Court's instructions to only certify and not censor films, CBFC wants to maintain moral standards with each film release.

Shamita Shetty wants to venture into Television Acting 

Shamita was last seen as a dance reality show contestant, which brought her a lot of love and accolades as she flawlessly mastered every kind of dance style.

In Bollywood, apart from her debut film 'Mohabbatein' and Woh Lamhe, she was not able to land substantial roles and soon disappeared from mainstream Hindi films.

Shahid Kapoor's Struggling Days 

Ken Ghosh first met with Shahid Kapoor at the auditions of Ishq-Vishq and found him to be too thin to play the lead actor. He even advised Shahid to take 2-3 years before making an entry into Bollywood. But Shahid was keen on getting his first break and worked immensely on his physique to land his dream role.

As Shahid's parents were critic's favorite actors and never 'Stars', they did not have much of an influence on his career. Shahid has been very 'Self-Made', since his professional dance days at Shiamak Davar Academy. He never knew how to conduct himself to potential directors, and when his first film did well at the box office, it came as a blessing upon him.

   But as a comparative context, all we can think of is Urmila Matondkar's innocent and bold portrayal in Ek Haseena Thi, Sonakshi does a similar grey shade character and reminds us of Urmila's brilliance. Their plots put them in a sitaution from being an innocent person to a complete badass.

   Akira we hear also raises an important issue on acid attacks apart from the corrupt police officers, Sonakshi will be seen fighting with. We can't wait for this one! 

Controversial Excerpts from Anything But Khamosh - A Shatrughan Sinha biography 

   Shatrughan Sinha launched his auto-biography earlier this year and his been extremely vocal about his political career as well as his film career.

   Rewinding back to 70's a time when Shatrughan Sinha and Amitabh Bachchan were competing rivals in the industry and even awkwardly brought together for films.

  Shatrughan Sinha claims the kind if response he received as an actor dissed Amitabh Bachchan, and he got him out of some projects as well.  Shatrughan Sinha further revealed the cold shoulder given to him on the sets, when Amitabh Bachchan did not offer him a chair or umbrella and he would be left out from the luxuries of having company.

   He claims to have known a lot about Rekha and Zeenat Aman ( who were close to Amitabh Bachchan) as they worked in the same films and how the ladies held a grudge against Shatrughan Sinha for knowing too much. They always sided with Amitabh Bachchan to maintain their position in the industry.

   Shatrughan Sinha does not appreciate Amitabh's acting skills and did not find his performance in Paa, worthy of any compliment. Though he is all praise for his son Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwariya Rai.

  Shatrughan Sinha has also mentioned about the 'Baharwali' in his life, in this case referring to Reena Roy with whom he did many films. They had a strong relationship despite of Shatrughan Sinha's marriage to Poonam Sinha. The media would report stories of the two being in the green room at that point. Poonam graciously forgave her husband and Reena Roy too has moved on with her life. However, an uncanny resemblance between Sonakshi Sinha and Reena Roy has been reported at the start of Sonakshi's career.

Sapna Bhavnani is having an ugly twitter battle with a leading Bollywood Journalist

Sapna Bhavnani recently wrote an autobiography on herself and was quizzed about having a chapter on Salman Khan in it, seen the two go back to Bigg Boss days. 

She claimed, how chauvinistic Salman Khan is and one has to boost his ego so as to land a role in one of his crappy films. She even went on to say, how she was warned to never speak about Salman Khan in public for the fear of getting killed. But Sapna maintained her stance. 

Now in a reverse of events. Sapna claims she did not want to churn out Bollywood Gossip and her interview is turned out to be unethical as her intent was to promote her book only and not give statements about a controversial superstar.

Kareena Kapoor is backing out of Veere Di Wedding 

   Recent reports suggest, mom-to-be Kareena Kapoor may have to quit her upcoming Bollywood project Veere Di Wedding, which would see her co-star with Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Tulsania, 

  Ekta Kapoor & Rhea Kapoor were excited to have such a talented cast on board. They even had on-screen pregnancy plots around Kareena's character. 

   However, Kareena did not expect fatigue, morning sickness and bed rest in her second trimester and has raised her concern with the production house. 

  The same role may now be done by Sonam Kapoor, we suppose. 

Baahubali 2 first look out on Prabhas's Birthday 

Baahubali 1 challenged the general norms of not having a definite climax and left it at a point, where any viewer would come back to know the whole story. 

 Amarendra Baahubali emerged as the new king in Mahishmati post the defeat of Kalakeya king. He defeated his cousin brother Bhallal Dev and won the throne through his leadership and nobility.  As Katappa narrated the past, he confessed that he killed Amarendra Baahubali. 

The next part will answer many hidden mysterious, one being about Amarendra Baahubali's killing to saving an infant Shiva from the clutches of rivals and safely bringing him to a local village. 

The makers are planning to launch the first look on October 23rd coinciding their film's promotion with Prabhas's birthday.  The film will hit the big screens on April 28th, 2017 and promises to tie all the loose ends.

Musician Honey Singh to re-work his song lyrics 

Honey Singh is known to create party numbers which go on about quirky drinking habits to gorgeous ladies and his excitement in a given situation. But ever since he suffered a psychological disorder known as bipolar disorder, he is a changed man. 

A bit about this condition 'Bipolar Disorder', a chronic and common state suffered by around 10 million Indians. It is associated with depression, low feelings to manic highs. An erratic mood disorder which can last for weeks to months. 

Overcoming this, Honey Singh wishes to change the lyrics of his song and make a rap on the undying human spirit and courage to face fear. 

His recent hit was 'Dheere Dheere' which was also a refreshing change from his past party numbers.

Illeana D'cruz furious with 'Aankhen 2' makers. 

Aankhen 2 recently held a grand film launch for the press and even responded to media questions. An AV was played, which featured videos the 'key cast' of Aankhen 2. Illeana's name and footage was used as well.

However, the actress was offered the part but she declined it and was in for a shock to hear her name among the cast members. The trend of hosting a launch is outdated. And makers generally conduct it to invite investors into their film.

Illeana is now contemplating a legal action against the makers, who announced her name without her knowledge. Aankhen 2 will be a 2017 Diwali release and will go on floors soon. 

Priyanka Chopra was pissed with Ranveer Singh for a very genuine reason 

   Ranveer Singh's energy is infectious, he brings so much enthusiasm to his work, it can spread like fire upon his team members.  He once stated, how irritating he could have been on his debut sets of 'Band Baaja Baarat' where in he had mugged up every sentence, every line that there was, so much so, he even knew Anushka's lines by-heart. 

   Being a methodical actor that he is, he pissed off Priyanka on the first day of Gunday Shoot.  A non-linear approach of shoot was being practiced and the Gunday team was to shoot a pre-climax scene, where in Ranveer had to use his aggression physically with lady-love Priyanka. 

   She was in for a shock, as he tugged hard at her. She even considered backing out from the film. However, when she went on set the next day, Ranveer had prepared a 'special drink' for her and even greeted her with a white rose. 

  Things got better with them and till today, the actors have been cast together on 3 big productions.

Everything was presented as 'larger than life' and rosy between the team members of Mohenjodaro. But the truth is far from it. 

We hear there were far too many creative differences between Ashutosh Gowarikar and the lead man Hrithik Roshan. From the scripting to direction. Hrithik would have the final say in all matters. 

Looks like Hrithik Roshan will never be cast again in an Ashutosh Gowarikar production. 

Exclusive : Sunny Leone was meant to do Nargis Fakhri's Role in Dishoom initially

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had approached Sunny Leone to play a cameo role in Dishoom, the one which eventually went to Nargis Fakhri. 

The offer came first to Sunny Leone, at that time she demanded Jacqueline Fernandez's role instead of the cameo. Since Jacqueline was already on board, they denied her the role. 

Post some negotiations of her length in the film, she agreed to do Nargis's role but for a very heavy sum of money. Sajid Nadiadwala maintained this sum is equivalent to the lead heroine's fee in the film. 

She stepped down and good friend Nargis fit in her shoes. 

Sunny's super stardom would have leverage Dishoom's campaign and reach thoroughly though.

MohenjoDaro Complete box office report 

     Mohenjodaro opened to mixed reviews, even though Ashutosh Gowarikar had urged the critics and audiences to watch it with an open mind and stated it is purely imaginative. Many top critics, thought the performances were repetitive, and found the plot hanging between Game of Thrones and Bahubali.

  The same old 70's plot of rich girl loves a poor boy was re-packaged with many a disconnected plots. One such was Hrithik applying red paint to his face in order to disguise himself.

  Well Rustom has surely been the audience's choice and beaten the period drama with a huge margin. A business of 75.94 crores  done within its first 6 days.

Shreyas Talpade's Wah Taj Promotions go haywire! 

   

   Wah Taj's makers have based the storyline around a chained Taj which seems to be shut. And a newly wedded couple in the foreground. It basically tells a story of a Farmer's struggle and his fight with the political system, with Taj playing an integral character as well.


   The film shall release on 23rd of September and in order to create a buzz, the makers and their marketing team decided to send out posters which said the Iconic Taj will be shut for tourists from 23rd of September across Agra ( Uttar Pradesh)

 
   The whole stunt backfired and now the team is battling a legal controversy for spreading false news. In a bid to calm down the matter, actor Shreyas has apologized, "It is disturbing. But if somebody’s sentiment is hurt because of us, we have said it repeatedly that we are sorry. We didn’t do anything intentionally"

The film-makers did not intend to start any controversy but unfortunately have to deal with one. The film alse features Manjari Phadnis in the female lead.

Recent reports suggest the powerful synergy of Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan is in the reckoning for YRF Production titled 'Thug'. 

At the helm will be the director of Dhoom 3, Vijay Krishna Acharya, who has previously worked with Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. 

This is a unique lead pair, as the two have never shared a frame together. The film is touted to be based on Philip Meadows Taylor's book, ' Confessions of a Thug"

Padmavati to be screened in Cannes 2017. 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, a master of remarkable period dramas has found an interesting romantic screenplay with 'Padmavati'. This is a man's obsession for a queen and his intent to get her by all means, even if it leads to destruction. 

As opposed to Sanja Leela Bhansali's way of operating, in which he takes a long time to deliver his surreal projects, 'Padmavati' deadline is set by May.2017. The ambitious maker wants to officially showcase his film in Cannes, 2017. 

His previous film Devdas was taken to the international prestigious film festival as well. Padmavati stars Deepika Padukone in the title role, Alauddin Khijli , the antagonist to be played by Ranveer Singh and Raja Rawal Ratan Singh will be enacted by Shahid Kapoor.

Shilpa Shetty offered a TV Show?

Shilpa Shetty might be signed for 20-22 episodic TV Series based on inspirational stories. The makers think she is apt for the role and her popularity will leverage the show. 

Shilpa has done a bit of Television by hosting to judging reality shows. But this format is Fiction. 

Shilpa added, "Though I admire the dedication of TV actors [in such shows], I don’t have the time for daily soaps. TV needs a lot of time and energy." However, she might consider the proposal if it is a limited show. 

Peepli LIVE Casting Director Mahmood Farooqui Convicted for Raping a US Woman 

On March 28, 2015, Peepli LIVE's co-director raped a 35-year old American Resident at his Delhi Residence. The Delhi court has sentenced him to a 7 year jail term along with a fine of Rs. 50,000, which if not paid his imprisonment will be extended by 3 months. 

The victim is a student of New York's Columbia University who was in Indian Capital for medical research. She alleges, the Urdu Storyteller raped her and apologized on several emails for his act. 

Police has accused Farooqui of destroying evidence against him.

Genelia D'souza is 29 years old , mother of two new-born sons and wife of the most loved comic actor Riteish Deshmukh.

Here's a flashback into her beautiful journey. 

Genelia was first noticed in her Parker Pen Ad with Amitabh Bachchan, which even landed her a role in Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003). She was keen to pursue a job in an MNC post graduation, but her destiny brought her to explore acting.









On meeting Riteish Deshmukh for the first time : 

She first met him at Hyderabad Airport and decided to look in the opposite direction, so as to set her standard by not accepting an influential son's ego. On dating Riteish Deshmukh: 

Stories did the rounds ever since 2003. when Tujhe Meri Kasam released, but Genelia and Riteish denied to any such news. They have been paired in Masti as well as Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya as couples. Riteish would meet her in the Southern suburbs of Mumbai, to avoid the paparazzi. They never confessed to the usual 'I love you' as love was bound to happen between two compatible persons.

Genelia always surprised Riteish with her natural, effortless and energetic performance. He would prepare for every scene in advance and think of doing it better than Genelia, but she always surprised him by taking it a notch higher. They are presently proud parents to Riaan and Rahyl.

Genelia is a popular actor in Tamil and Telugu films. Riteish recently wished Genelia would star in a Marathi film with him. Alia Bhatt to be paired opposite Ajay Devgn in Golmaal 4?

Alia Bhatt is being considered by Rohit Shetty's team, as a replacement to Kareena Kapoor in the Golmaal Franchise. 

Its part 4 is being planned and we hear, Alia's manager Reshma Shetty, who also manages Salman Khan, has already finalized her remuneration, character, co-stars and promotions. 

If this deal comes through, Alia will successfully add another huge production to her name and make her foray into Action - Comedy with Rohit Shetty brand of films. 

However, we most look forward to the unusual pair of Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. Considering her past films have had a bit of comedy, this one will be a refreshing treat with Alia in the lead. 

Here's how Katrina Kailf dealt with her breakup with Ranbir Kapoor

Katrina and Ranbir were contemplating marriage by the end of 2016. They  even shared a home with one of the best views in Western suburbs of Mumbai. Yet, things fell apart around the time Ranbir was promoting his last film Tamasha.

Here’s all about Ashutosh Gowarikar’s next big production MohenjoDaro

     We may have studied a chapter of Harappa Civilization and Indus Valley Civilization in our school book, which served as the first reference for the maker Ashutosh Gowarikar as well. He penned down a lengthy 200 pager bound script and presented it to his trusted resource and main protagonist, Hrithik Roshan.  After several inputs from Hritihik, the script was shortened to 80 pages.

 

    Let’s rewind back in 1800’s when MohenjoDaro came to be one of the first civilization ever inhabited by 5 million humans. This geographically lies between Afghanistan and Pakistan and some parts of North India today. It is known as a Bronze civilization, which is why the color palate of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s film is bronze with tinges of brown and orange.

    Ashutosh Gowarikar stated it is an imaginative screenplay and more like a make-believe world.  The filmmaker gets attracted to untold stories and presents them cinematically. The film is shot in extensively in Bhuj, Gujarat with sets that represent the archaeology of the bygone era.

   Hrithik Roshan is rumored to have quite a few love-making scenes with Pooja Hegde, which are loosely based on the intimacy shown in Game of Thrones. A two and a half minute bold scene is shot inside a cave to establish their relationship.  His character is that of an indigo farmer who yearns to visit MohenjoDaro and gets lured in by its people and culture. 

   MohenjoaDaro is one of the oldest cities of our existence and it’s story needed telling. From the looks of the theatrical, Sarman aka Hrithik Roshan will fight Maham aka Kabir Bedi to reclaim and serve his city. Chaani is his love interest.

MohenjoDaro releases on 12^th August  in theaters.

Here's why 'Manmarziyan' may be put on hold 

Another love story featuring Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana is underway, with Anand L. Rai on the helm. It is based in North India and the film palate is chill winters. 

However with the on-going heavy showers, the makers have decided to put the film on hold, till the weather changes.  This also marks Bhumi's second film after her major make-over. 

Creatively, the director's seat has been changed once. Sameer Sharma of 'Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khuranna' was not able to deliver it as per the imagined screenplay. He has been replace by Ashwiny Tiwari Iyer who last made 'Nil Battey Sannata'

On a related not, Anand L. Rai will be directing Shahrukh Khan in an untitled film based on dwarfs, which is in pre-production currently. 

Jabra Fan of Amitabh Bachchan 

A die-hard fan of Amitabh Bachchan traveled all the way from Pune to Mumbai, Juhu to meet the superstar. This was in a bid to display his singing talent to the actor. Suspect Bullet Banwarillal Yadav, all of 23 years, has been taken into custody by the Juhu Police. 

An attempt of 5 days went in vain and Yadav decided to scale the bungalow walls. Amitabh Bachchan's cook alerted the security and the police was informed soon after. 

Booked under Indian Penal Code section 447 ( House Trespass), Yadav may get bail after warning. 

Deepika Padukone : Sanjay Leela Bhansali's most favorite muse

   Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known to function a bit differently when it comes to choosing his cast. He looks for beautiful, raw, talented women in which he find his main character. He empowers them with his magnificent direction and puts them out to the world. 

   Aishwariya Rai's eyes, innocence and ability to deliver emotions, got Mr. Sanjay Bhansali to cast her over and over again. His recent find is much loved Deepika Padukone today.

Deepika first met the film-maker for Sawaariya, at a time when she had to chose between Om Shant Om and Sawaariya as her big debut film. As Sonam Kapoor was already casted with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, Deepika went on to do Om Shanti Om. Her stars were surely lucky as it proved to be a mgea hit, surpassing the success of Sawaariya. 

Co-incidentally she bagged Bajirao Mastani as well: 

Kareena Kapoor was to play SLB's Mastani. The set was mounted, but Kareena's exit came as a shock to the maker just 10 days before shoot. He hurriedly cast Deepika for it and when he met her for the narration, she was down with fever, her moist eyes got Bhansali to say, "What is this girl all about"

Sanjay Leela Bhansali compared Deepika with yesteryear Madhubala's raw beauty. His love for Deepika has strengthened after they collaborated for Bajirao Mastani and he feels no one else could have delivered the character as she did. The team is re-uniting for Padmavati once again. 

This association is indeed a cinematic joy, raising the standards of period films. Almost like an ode to the historic gems of Indian Cinema.
